At 11 this morning they opened up the exhibit floor to VIP attendees and the press at the DigitalLife conference. The floor was crowded with exhibits large and small. Microsoft took up the most square footage with its Vista display.

Verizon had the New Jersey Nets' mascot and a few cheerleaders signing autographs, Toshiba staged a "Deal or No Deal"-esque game show complete with a Howie Mandel look-a-like (see picture below the fold), plenty of companies had "models" touting their products, and Napster even had a "Purr-lesque lounge" whatever that is.

Video game stations dominated the floor, and the lines were long for some of the games, especially my personal favorite, Guitar Hero 2. Much more to come from the conference in the next couple of days. — Brian Ward
