The folks over at Engadget have finally gotten their hands on Microsoft's looming Zune portable media device. Engadget has a video which walks you through the device's interface, and plenty of pictures. All told, it looks like a real iPod alternative (I won't say killer, because I don't think the iPod can really be killed at this point).

The video shows the Zune zooming through menus and highlights the use of graphics throughout. I still think the crippled Wi-Fi which only allows you to send songs to other Zune players is a bit ridiculous, but overall, Microsoft seems to have turned out a decent product. — Brian Ward
