For the myriad investors bringing video to the Internet in the hopes that it also makes it way into the family room, iSuppli Corp. has some good news. The research firm says that Internet video will make its way to the TV, and best of all, it will make money. About $5.8 billion in 2011. Of course, that's small potatoes compared with the $152.3 billion TNS Media Intelligence estimates advertisers will spend in 2007 in the U.S. ($11.3 billion of which will be spent online), but it's a nice start. It will be interesting to see which of the video startups highlighted in Tech Confidential's  special report on convergence are still around to capitalize on these estimated billions.
