Just because a company is green doesn't mean it can't be capitalistic — after all, green is the color of money. Online green news Web site Treehugger.com has been sold to Discovery Communications Inc., which opearates the Discovery television network. Though terms were not disclosed, the New York Post reported Discovery paid $10 million for Treehugger. Discovery said the interactive site will become part of its global multiplatform initiative Planet Green, which includes the first 24/7 eco-lifestyle TV network launching in 50 million homes in early 2008. Founded in 2004,  TreeHugger.com is one of the most successful ecologically oriented Web sites, with 1.4 million unique monthly visitors. —David Shabelman
