AOL is using a one-time promotion to kick start its video service, named AOL Video. Natali Del Conte from TechCrunch is reporting that AOL Video will allow one free download per person (not per computer) this coming Saturday. Users can choose from a list of 30 movies including holiday titles and mainstream movies.

AOL is offering a hybrid service with mainstream professionally-produced products available for sale alongside user-generated video content. The price for movie downloads ranges from $9.99 to $19.99 per title. The promotion is scheduled to start at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday. — Brian Ward
