As Clearwire Corp. teams with Sprint Nextel Inc. to build out a nationwide WiMax network, it needs people. Good people. People who have the experience building out a nationwide wireless network. People from bankrupt mobile virtual network operator Amp'd Mobile Inc.? Apparently the Kirkland, Wash., provider thinks former Amp'd CEO and founder Peter Adderton and his Amp'd Mobile crew are perfect for their business, according to Paid Content. Sure they took $300 million and ran a company into bankruptcy targeting a young adult demographic who didn't like to pay their bills. But Clearwire has raised $900 million — and from some of the same investors, such as Intel Capital. Surely Adderton and co. will benefit Clearwire. After all, WiMax is the perfect type of technology to push entertainment and other high bandwidth applications.  Clearwire and Sprint don't want to build out a 4G network if there's nothing to put on it. Clearwire hasn't commented on the rumors yet, but Tech Confidential will let you know if and when it does. —Stacey Higginbotham
