Blog pioneer Paul Kedrosky is joining the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where he will help develop new programs for entrepreneurs. Kedrosky's "expertise and unconventional thinking will contribute to our efforts to advance entrepreneurship, innovation and economic growth," says Foundation CEO Carl Schramm in a statement.
Entrepreneurs could learn a lot from Kedrosky, a venture partner at Ventures West, Canada's largest VC firm, where he invests in consumer technologies, media, semiconductors and life sciences. He's also on the boards of Marqui Corp., a marketing automation software firm, and Dabble DB, a hosted data management company. Previously, he served as executive director of the William J. von Liebig Center, which uses a seed capital program to commercialize technologies from the University of California, San Diego.
Oh, and he writes one of our favorite blogs. Check out his Infectious Greed. -- Mary Kathleen Flynn
