Although most of video microblogging startup Seesmic's funding news has leaked out in dribs and drabs over the past few months, company founder Löic LeMeur has filled in the missing details with a lengthy blog post indicating that the company has raised total of $6 million, closing its Series A round last fall. More than 90% of the money comes from Atomico Investments, the investment vehicle launched by Skype founders Niklas Zennstrom and Janus Friis. A list of familiar investors including AOL founder Steve Case, TechCrunch's Michael Arrington, SoftTechVC's Jeff Clavier, angel Ron Conway, LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman and others provided the balance of the funding. (Although early reports pegged Dave Winer as an investor, he ultimately declined for reasons he explained on his own Web site.) - Paul Bonanos
