I'll be moderating a panel tomorrow morning at a half-day SDForum event called Next Generation Tech: Teens Plugged In. The main topic of discussion will be how best to invest in teens establishing companies and how best to build companies targeting teens as consumers.

I'll be moderating a panel at 11:15 on Wednesday exploring these issues with a heavy emphasis on what is the teen demographic's technology needs, how they are currently being addressed by IT companies and where opportunities lie now. Panelists include representatives from HP, Microsoft, Facebook, Accel Partners and Norwest Venture Partners. This is an area of great interest for venture capitalists and hopefully we'll have a good discussion.

Earlier in the day, Liz Gannes will moderate a panel of teenagers to find out exactly what sort of technology they're interested in. And at the end, to make sure everyone stays all day, 13-year old phenom Anshul Samar will talk about his startup Elementeo.

If you're going to be at the venue in HP auditorium in Palo Alto, please say hello to me.
