
Whether or not you believe that too many consumer Internet companies have received funding in recent years, it's hard to dispute that the collaborative technologies binding these companies together are going to continue growing in significance.
In an interview printed in this week's edition of The Deal magazine, Claudia Fan Munce, IBM Venture Capital Group's managing director and vice president of IBM Corporate Strategy, pinpointed Web 2.0 technologies as the single most promising emerging technology. Here is the excerpt:
What are the most promising emerging technology markets?
'Internet technology will continue to drive new opportunities. There's a long way to go for people to capitalize on all of the mobility.
