I'll be moderating a panel tomorrow afternoon at the Platform 2.0: The Next Generation conference organized by SDForum. Representatives from Microsoft, SAP, Sun, Salesforce.com, Google and others will spend the day discussing new products and business opportunities opening up due to the newfound ease of creating applications on the web.

At 2:45, four startups will demo their products and answer a few questions at the end. The companies will be:

Foldier.com - In closed beta. I'll find out what they do at the demo tomorrow.
Backbase - Rich Internet applications for the enterprise.
Sourcemix - AJavaScript-based programming environment for collaboratively building Web applications, services, and mashups. Appears to be in private beta.
Widgetbox - An online directory of widgets backed with $1.5 million from Hummer Winblad.

It's a good mix of very early stage startups with some more developed ones as well as diversification along the enterprise and consumer target markets. These are some of theme I'll likely pick up on in the question and answer period.

If you're going to be at the venue in Santa Clara, please say hello to me. I'll be sticking around afterward for the venture capital panel.
