I'm not quite sure I understand what this gossip tidbit means, but then again, I'm not sure anyone does.

So, here goes: It seems that Lindsay Lohan is feeling persecuted and wrote a note this month to some of her friends about how she is going to get back at the tabloids. In the message, she wrote (and I'm using that word loosely, here) that she spoke to Al Gore at a recent Hollywood party about enlisting his help. Lohan then assumed that Gore's powerful friends, such as Bill Clinton and John Doerr, would also help her. That is, when they're not busy fixing the environment and raising money for tsunami victims.

Gore has already distanced himself from the 20-year starlet, pictured below. Here is an excerpt from Lohan's note:

Al Gore will help me he came up to me last night and said he would be very happy to have a conversation with me. If he is willing to help me, let's find out. Hilary Clinton, Bill Clinton, and Evan metroplis, and John Daur who works with them would be willing, if we just ask. If we just ASK.

Like I said, I'm not sure what the point of all this is, but I imagine it won't hurt dealflow at Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers.
