Traffic, users and company topics on online customer service web site, Satisfaction, have doubled each month since launch in September, according to company CEO Thor Muller. He added that Satisfaction will release an API soon that will allow the companies with customer service forums on the site to embed those
discussions on their own web sites.

More than 1000 companies are covered on Satisfaction, of which about 40% have chosen to respond to customer queries on the Satisfaction site. Comcast and Google are some of the largest companies that are responding directly to customer feedback on the Satisfaction web site.

First Round Capital, O'Reilly AlphaTech Ventures and the angels that invested $1.3 million into the company last year are involved with a useful startup poised to thrive. Customer service is a persistent problem that crowd sourcing tools are a powerful solution for.

Speaking at the SF New Tech meetup held at Mighty in San Francisco, Muller added that the company has focused on user engagement, rather than monetization, to date. However, Satisfaction Unlimited is working on a a business model to support the service. - Joshua Jaffe
