Despite the presence of no less than five different video bloggers, podcasters and lifecasters on hand to document the discussion, today's online video panel at the Supernova 2007 conference provided few clues about how to support those businesses.

Beyond Adwords, here are some the ideas raised by the participants in the room:

1) A user telethon
2) Sponsored pages
3) Less obtrusive video advertising
4) In-video advertising

The consensus from the panel was that this problem will be solved in time as advertisers gradually adjust to the new medium. The question for many in the audience is where does that leave the startups today trying to pay for the costs of content production and bandwidth.
